In 2011, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch estimated an attendance of 85,000 attendees over PrideFest weekend, once again making our festival one of the highest attended Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) events in the Midwest region.
Then, in 2012, we broke records again, with attendance estimated at 100,000+ over two days and the longest parade in our history.
2013 marked a significant milestone as PrideFest moved to Downtown St. Louis at Soldiers Memorial. The festival once again made history with over 125,000 attendees at PrideFest and nearly 80,000 spectators for the annual Pride Parade. The Parade route moved to center stage beginning at Kiener Plaza and running the length of Market St. to Soldiers Memorial.
2014 marked the 35th anniversary of PrideFest in St. Louis, the 45th anniversary of Stonewall and the 250th birthday of the City of St. Louis. Pride St. Louis, Inc. was proud to be an Official Celebration Partner of stl250.
In 2015, PrideFest will celebrate it's third consecutive year in Downtown St. Louis. PrideFest continues to thrive in the Downtown environment with increased exposure, visibility and reach.
Pride St. Louis, Inc. Media Policy
PrideFest develops non-exclusive sponsorships with media entities. These sponsorships are cash basis to fund our Festival and programs for the organization. Pride St. Louis, Inc. provides to all media locally, regionally, and nationally editorial information and content equally regardless of media sponsorships. Our intent is to educate and make aware all media about Pride’s events, activities and programs. We welcome coverage and inclusion from all entities regardless of sponsorship affiliations and are committed to this goal always.
