Scholarship

Continuing its longstanding support of scholarship within the St. Louis LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, asexual, and ally) community, Pride St. Louis annually awards the scholarship to St. Louis area LGBTQIA+ student(s), students/children of an LGBTQIA+ parent, or student allies of the LGBTQIA+ community to provide financial assistance to attend a post-secondary undergraduate institution.  Graduate students are eligible to receive the scholarship as well.

“We are pleased to offer this scholarship to those in our LGBTQIA+ community who have shown great leadership, volunteerism and courage,” states Matt Harper, President of Pride St. Louis. “Taking the initiative to support our own community is essential: the foundation which enables us to better educate, empower, and push towards the future of equality.”

This year, a record of one-hundred and eighteen individuals applied for the PrideSTL Scholarship. Eighteen individuals receieved scholarships to help them in seeking higher education.
