McDonald’s Inc. is presenting sponsor for this year’s festivities
St. Louis, MO (March 29, 2022) – The Pride St Louis Board of Directors recently announced the highly anticipated return of St. Louis PrideFest and its theme, “Together Again.”
In a historic first for Pride St. Louis, McDonald’s, the American multinational food corporation, has agreed to be the presenting sponsor of the Pride St. Louis Grand Pride Parade 2022 June 26th in downtown St. Louis.

PrideFest is a celebration of togetherness and acceptance and we welcome McDonald’s to our festival experience”
McDonald’s has been a longtime supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community and made headlines in 2017 with the release of their rainbow pride french fry boxes for Pride month in select markets. “Diversity at McDonald’s is understanding, recognizing and valuing the differences that make each person unique,” said Chrissy Hurst, the first female president of the McDonald’s of Metro St. Louis Co-op. “The McDonald’s family is proud to support the Grand Pride Parade and we look forward to bringing everyone together in the name of joy and love for all.”
St. Louis PrideFest, in its 41st year, is a two-day celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community. Previous years have seen attendance at over 300,000 visitors. Due to Covid, the event has been on hiatus for two years, and its much-anticipated return is expected to draw record numbers. PrideFest 2022: Together Again will be held June 25 – 26, 2022 in downtown St. Louis.
