St. Louis (June 2, 2022) -- Pride St. Louis is excited to announce the entertainment lineup for the 2022 St. Louis “Together Again” Pridefest brought to you by Edward Jones. This event will take place on June 25th and 26th in downtown St. Louis surrounding Soldier’s Memorial. This celebration will feature a wonderful mixture of national recording artists as well as local LGBTQIA+ entertainers on the MasterCard Main Stage.
On Saturday June 25th out first national recording artist, Latin Pop Star, VASSY will join us. Her unique sound and anthemic lyrics have made her one of the most sought-after vocalists around the world in Dance Music. The Australian powerhouse’s discography includes numerous Global Chart topping hits earning her multiple #1s in over 30 Countries such as “Bad,” & “Secrets,” with Dance Music Icons, David Guetta & Tiësto.
Closing out the festival on the 25th is Grammy nominated, Powerhouse vocalist, Deborah Cox. One of the most powerful and versatile contemporary voices of our time. Her second CD. One Wish, came the double platinum “Nobody’s Supposed to be Here” – which held the record for the longest running #1 R & B single. has an impressive list of #1 Billboard hit records, including thirteen #1 songs on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play chart.
On Sunday June 26th we are excited to announce, back by popular demand, Alex Newell. Alex is the amazing multi-talented transgender actor and singer. They will bring their amazing voice and talent to the stage, as seem in their role as Unique Adams on the Fox Musical Series Glee, and MO on Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.
Closing the festival on June 26th is the ever so rising pop artist, RAYE. She is one of the most streamed artists in the world with over 2.3 billion Spotify streams of her music. She has a double-platinum, four platinum, two gold and three silver singles to her name. She is also indisputably one of the UK's premier songwriters. Her songs have amassed over 3 billion Spotify streams, having written for some of the world’s biggest artists including: John Legend, Ellie Goulding, Khalid, David Guetta, Diplo, and Beyonce.
New this year is the Ascend DJ Dance Stage. We are excited to announce a lineup of some of the most premier DJ’s in St. Louis and the LGBTQIA+ Community. On June 25th spinning the beats include DJ Burna, DJ Drew$tylZ, DJ GDiddy, and DJ Taber. On June 26th the mix masters include DJ FreeRadical, DJ Troy Dillard, Rops & Charles, and DJ Rico.
